ASRT

The American Society of Radiologic Technologists is the professional society for medical imaging professionals. The society functions to provide resources for technologists to improve patient care. The mission of the ASRT is to uphold the code of professional ethics as well, provide for research in the improvement of the workplace for medical imaging technologists. The ASRT produces the scholarly journal, "Radiologic Technology", and also publishes "ASRT Scanner", a monthly news magazine for the radiologic sciences. The ASRT is recognized by the ARRT as a RCEEM (Recognized Continuing Education Evaluation Mechanism). That is, it is recognized by the ARRT as an organization that is able to evaluate continuing education activities and assign category A credit to them. Our Reintroduction to Patient Positioning course has been evaluated by the ASRT and assigned credit.
