This course is designed to allow radiologic technologists to revisit core radiation protection principles. Topics include: properties of matter, radiation properties, measuring radiation, sources of radiation, radiation biology, protection of the patient, protection of the radiographer, and dose limits.

This course is delivered completely online with lecture notes divided into chapters, and a post test on each chapter. The ASRT has approved this course for 2.5 Category A credits. You must complete the post tests successfully (75% = passing) to be awarded the credits. All content and testing for this CEU activity is performed at our online classroom.
